The care, nurturing and education of your child is at the heart of who we are and what we do. To that end, we ensure that every staff member receives appropriate orientation and training on an ongoing basis. Lord of Life requires that all Lead Teachers have a degree in Education or a related field, or have completed CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential coursework. All teachers are required by Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) regulations to obtain continuing education in the early childhood education and development field. Our teaching staff is given opportunities to complete this work and encouraged to share their insights with other staff members.Experience has taught us that high-quality child care is directly linked to the education and training of the staff. We work hard to increase the knowledge and education of all our teachers. Quality training creates a more professional and rewarding work experience for teachers and provides a rich environment for children to learn, grow and flourish. Standards, Core Values and Expectations of StaffAt Lord of Life we promote core values for our teachers, as outlined in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct.
