 The Lord of Life Adult & Child Services Food Service Department goes above and beyond for our children and adult participants in so many ways.  We are committed to serving your child  delicious, homestyle food. Our full service kitchen operates with four employees who work five days a week to produce the 400 meals a day for our kids, our adult participants and for the staff.  Meals are served as per CACFP requirements, ensuring that the daily nutrition requirements for your child are met or exceeded.
Our kitchen staff is always in communication with the classroom teachers, ensuring consistent food quality, appropriate quantities, and that participants with food allergies receive only safe choices prepared especially for them.  Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are included for every child every day.  Parents are welcome to provide food for their own children if they choose.  The Director should be made aware should you prefer to do so.

 With food allergies on the rise, 1 in 13 children are affected. The Lord of Life Child Development Center staff  takes food allergies very seriously. We are a totally allergy safe, peanut-  and tree nut-free facility. All of our staff are highly trained on all aspect of food allergies. Our kitchen staff is very cautious in selecting only safe ingredients used in our facility. When it comes to birthday celebrations and special events, we have a lot of options to keep children with food allergies safe.
