Careers at the Child Development Center
Interested in joining our amazing team of lead teachers, assistant teachers and volunteers? We are always looking for people who are passionate about early childhood education. Whether you have credentials and experience, or are thinking about child care as a career, we would love to meet you. If you are a team player who enjoys the energy, joy and challenges of guiding and shaping children, and who is open to learning as much as you teach, we would be interested in discussing the opportunities at Lord of Life.
First Steps
Stop in to complete an employment application. We are available Monday - Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Come in for an interview with our Director.
Your interview may include spending a few minutes in one of our classrooms, with our teaching staff, to see how comfortable you feel. You may be asked to come back for a second interview.
If you are offered a position
You will need to complete paperwork, including a background check and finger printing as required by New York State OCFS. You will also need to have a physical. We will provide you with everything you need to do to be ready to begin your new career!
If you want to Volunteer
Volunteers are always welcome. Please contact our Director by phone or in person to hear about what opportunities are available. As a regular volunteer, you may be required to complete a background check as required by New York State OCFS.
